My Name is Victor Ehikwe, a resident of Guelph. As a father of five children, the values I hold dear to my heart align with the founding principles of the Upper Grand District Schools.

It is my passion and interest that UGDSB promotes student success and prepares all students to succeed in an extremely fast-paced world and to compete on an equal footing in the Canadian economy.

As emergency services at the Guelph General Hospital continue to experience critical staff shortages, numerous hospitals across Ontario have also experienced them. A feeble attempt to save our healthcare system has been made to invite foreign trained medical personnel from all over the world to immigrate to Canada, including nations with inadequate educational funding.

Ontario students have been underrepresented and relegated to the peripherals of the manufacturing, IT, and other vital industries that sustain a nation's ability to thrive.

Our students have not been equipped with the tools they need to thrive and to fulfill their potentials since the UGDSB sees the Canadian Law and Legal System as systemic racists (please see link); as such efforts are being undertaken to undermine our education system.

Your Children's education and Future Success must not be diverted by issues of Race, Gender and Sexual Orientation or any other WOKE ideologies.

My goal is to represent your family in your children's education at the UGDSB, and I will ensure your consent is sought whenever a course requires age-appropriate permissions. The UGDSB needs more resources and student support in Math, Science and other areas to make sure our students can fill high-paying jobs in critical industries of Canada.
